Hmm. In our "Preparing for labour and Child Birth" class our instructor had a pink knitted uterus... complete with knitted cervix attached (kinda like a turtleneck), and plastic baby inside.

It was actually quite a useful demonstration tool.

Different than a knitted boa though, to be sure. But just as odd ;-)
