Backyard fruit

We were talking about plums and plum chutney on the Well, which inspired me to post these photos in an attempt to identify the specific variety of our neighbor's tree (half of which is technically our tree, according to Seattle statutes, since it extends over the fence).
These are of course not ripe yet, so that may make a good ID rather difficult.
